This painting was started as a demonstration during one of our livestreams, showcasing the technique of painting with only black and white gesso. It features a mysterious landscape speckled with lightning bugs reacting to the strike on the tree. A moment captured, brief and electric.

Printed on cardstock with archival inks, sent in a protective sleeve inside a cardboard envelope. Each print is signed by Cynthia Thornton and is an open edition. 

This is an 8x10" print of a painting that was done by hand in acrylics by Cynthia Thornton in 2026.
