Smaller Bronze Iris Love Token Pendant Charm

Love tokens are Victorian charms given to loved ones when separated. I carved this one inspired by the language of flowers. Irises are symbolic of wisdom, a possible reason the flower was used in coats of arms for royalty ( the fleur d'lis). This piece has a nice weight and would look perfect with a variety of stones.

This substantial pendant is made of pure bronze, from a hand carved wax. It is then cast using the lost wax casting method by my husband Greg Ogden. The piece is then cleaned and hand polished, a patina applied afterward.
