Azalea here! I thought this necklace should’ve been listed at $210, what with all the opals and pearls and knots between each and every tiny bead, but my Mom insisted on the price being lower. She’s notorious for underselling herself, of course.
These necklaces are the culmination of years of collecting and traveling. The stones come from all over the world, some sent by friends, others chosen from distant markets, or selected from trusted gem cutters. Each bead is added to the strand, selected by color or texture, or how harmoniously it works with the accompanying stones. The work is a meditation, a prayer for good fortune for the wearer.
